These were produced in Japan and made of nickle plated brass to duplicate the railroad's stainless steel fleet. This car comes complete with a package of Champ Santa Fe decals and car end diaphragms to be installed by the modeler. No glazing or interior comes with this model.
Car appears to never have been used or used very little. No couplers are installed. All the original package, foam and the box is present. Box shows some shelf wear, common of a 40 year old model. Approximately 150 of these cars were produced in 1978.
