Lone Star Collectibles was founded in March of 2016. Much of the beginnings were organizing and staging my own personal HO scale train collection to be sold from 30 years ago. Back then, Athearn trains were the leaders of their blue box RTR pre-painted, powered and unpowered locomotives and cars. Roundhouse Models made up most of the rolling stock that I had collected during the 1980s and 1990s.
As I had recently decided it was time to sell my collection, I priced and sold about 95% of it on eBay. However, with eBay's fees and restrictions, some of this became an effort to really sell the items for what I thought they were worth. Some things sold for more, surprising me of the demand there was for these collectible trains. At the same time, I was beginning to collect military accouterments. Much of the items that I became interested in were web gear, weapons cleaning kits and edged weapons of the two World Wars.
Thus, Lone Star Collectibles became into being as an online store for the discerning modeler who is looking for the latest in innovations provided by today's manufacturers. As you peruse our website, please note if you don't see what you are looking for, let us know. It's possibly as easy as contacting one of our distributors and having it shipped. We are receiving and adding new product and replacements weekly. From time to time, we also carry quality brass trains for those who enjoy the collecting. Much of the items in stock have been discontinued or no longer in production. Making them difficult to obtain. Let us help you complete your collection, or for that matter, start a new one.

At this time we have discontinued our military collector's series as much of what we had, has sold. We may add this section in the future based on supplies and demand of such items.
A littl' bit about me.....
I have been a Texas resident all my life, born and raised in a small community of Milam County. Worked in manufacturing and sales most of my adult life. A business graduate from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton. Recently, I retired from a big box home improvement retailer where I had been a department manager for the Millwork Department selling a variety of windows and doors.
Relocated back to central Texas (Bell County) in mid June 2021.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with your questions or concerns. Thank you again for visiting us.
