The car was built for the Soo Line and carried the name "Minneapolis." It was acquired by the Great Northern Railway and renamed "Columbia River." The car next went to Burlington Northern Railroad when that line was created through a merger of several lines. The car retained the name "Columbia River." The "Columbia River" was rebuilt to include adding ribbed siding and assigned No. 2 by Burlington Northern. Sometimes around 2014, the car was renamed "Snoqualmie Pass" and its BNSF number was changed to 62
