PRODUCT INFORMATION
Built by Pullman Standard in 1914 as business car 99 for UP Chairman Robert Lovett. The "Shoshone" is the second oldest car still in service for the UPP Heritage Fleet. It was renumbered No. 106 in June 1952, and named Shoshone in 1978. The car was donated to the California State Railroad Museum in 1985. Shoshone was loaned back to Union Pacific in 1992 in exchange for business car No. 103 "Cheyenne".
The car is named for Shoshone, Idaho, a town on Union Pacific’s line in central Idaho.
Overland Models HO scale Union Pacific "Shoshone" business car built by Ajin of Korea in 2001. Only 125 were produced. Factory painted/finished and lettered with fully tinted window glazing, interior and rear lights installed. Includes Kadee couplers, installed.
This rare opportunity comes to us from auction. It has been inspected and tested throughly. Please note, the track lights, taillight and interior lights all work on DC. Only the interior lights work on DCC. Original box and foam show minimal shelf wear. New prototypical trucks have been recently added.
Note: a 26” minimal radius curve is required for trouble-free operations.
